Classic Latch Card

Hi and welcome!
I wanted to add one more card for next month, and I decided to do a latch card.  The circle here clicks open like a latch.
This is the front of the card. It's very hard to see, but there are 3 score lines on the right, all at 1/8 inch intervals. The score lines are actually on the inside of the card.
They allow the circle to move to the inside, as shown here.

I really like different card designs, scores and layering. This one was quick and easy. Hope you like it. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

It's a Man's World...

Hello and welcome! The retired list is out and it took me 3 days to separate what I wanted to keep, with what I can let go.  This is always an exciting time, but it's also sort of a sad time too.  But, keeping with the theme, "out with the old and in with the new", I've decided to use that as my theme for May's stamp camp.  Here's our cards:

The Nailed It Bundle is going away. I did some triple time stamping on the card above.
I let the Framelits in this bundle do all the work for this card. I also used the Underground DSP, which is also retiring.
For this card, 3 products are going away.. The beautiful Cupcakes & Carousel paper, Balloon Adventures stamp set and the Balloon Pop Up Thinlits. I hope they are not completely gone by the time stamp camp rolls around.
I was happy that this thinlit is very easy to work with. This entire set is a keeper!
Good news! Although this bundle is gone, the only thing retiring here is the DSP. The stamp set and framelits will be in the new catalog, just not at the bundled price.

I wanted to do cards that could be used to the guys, for a birthday or Father's Day.  I think these work, don't you? Thanks for stopping by today. If you do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, please contact me to reserve your copy of the new 2017-2018 Annual catalog. Have a great day.

April Stamp Camp Projects

Hi and welcome!  It's been a busy few weeks, but I have been happily creating projects for my April stamp camps.  This month, our theme is Mother's Day and lady friendship.  One of my team members, Charlie,  loves to make 3-D projects.  So, we are co-hosting this month, and she's designed the most adorable little box and I created a card to go with it.  Here's our projects:

In just 2 short months, our 2015-17 In Colors will be retiring.  Charlie thought she could combine Mint Macaron (retiring) with Emerald Envy, which is not retiring until next year.  I think the color combo works great, don't you? Here's some different angles of the box she created.

So that our card matched, I used Mint Macaron for our card base, and then used the Emerald Envy DSP for the first layer.  I like how it just peeks from behind our focal image.  This card is actually shorter than the normal A2 size, but the added circle at the top is just right, at 5-1/2, so it will fit into an A2 size envelope.  I made 3 versions of the card, to show off each designer paper.

We are also making a cute little purse, that will hold a Hershey nugget.  And a butterfly, that I cannot take credit for.  I saw this on Brenda Quintana's blog:  QBee's.  I just had to make it.
Well, that's it for today.  I hope you enjoyed our little preview.  If you like what you see, please leave me a comment. I love to hear from you! Have an awesome day!
