December Stamp Camp Fun

Hi friends,
December has been a very busy month, as I'm sure it has been for you too.  Can you believe that it's almost 2017? WOW...seems like just a few weeks ago I was getting ready for spring to arrive. I hope your year has been great.
I held my last stamp camp of the year last weekend.  This is the one where I treat all my customers to a fun filled afternoon, complete with 2 cards to make (at no charge to them), a lot of wonderful food and deserts, and they each go home with at least 3 gifts.  It's my way of thanking them for their support all year long. I also launch a sneak peek of the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs, and they get to see all the goodies I am able to order ahead of time.  I love the looks on their faces when they see all the new products, especially the stamp sets and papers. Most everyone makes a comment like "uh oh...my credit card is in trouble".  Or, "I need another part time job". It's always such a fun day!
  Here's our 2 cards:

I believe this is called a panel card.  A few score lines, mountain & valley folds, and this is a quick card to make. You can turn it over to stamp or write your message and sign the card. And, it fits perfectly into a standard A2 card size envelope. We used the new Christmas Magic stamp set in the Holiday catalog. This set is on the retiring list, and is on sale right now. Hurry if you want one, because they won't last. Garden Green card stock and This Christmas DSP was used for the end and center panels.
This angle shows how the card is folded and sits on a desk or table.
A Happy New Year card is one I tend to forget about making.  Not this time though. I used the It's a Celebration stamp set. (also on the retiring list). Dapper Denim card stock, with silver and whisper white layers, stamped with Dapper Denim ink for the front panel and the inside.  I used Whisper White Ink to stamp the designs on the front.  A lot of glittery rhinestones were needed to help celebrate a New Year.
Well, those are the last 2 cards of the year. I'm anxious to start working on next month's stamp camp. I'm using products I just received from the new Occasions catalog.  If you don't already have a demonstrator, give me a call or email.  I'll be sure to get you your very own Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalog ASAP.
From our house to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year!  Peace.....  and love.....  XO
