Thoughtful Branches # 2

Hi!  As a follow up to my post the other day, I promised to tell  you how I fixed my icky card. You know, the one I made that didn't turn out so well? Here's the one I did at first. The mojo wasn't working very well. I stamped the leaves in 2 colors, added way too many apples and all in the wrong places. I even put some "weeds" (that's what they look like) at the bottom of the tree.
And here's my rescue card.  It's a good thing this bundle has framelits.  I cut out the leaves in 2 different greens, and offset them so you get the effect of different colored leaves. I then stamped some apples and a bird. Cut them out with the framelits and was able to hide most of those apples in the tree. The bird at the top, hides that apple that was strategically placed there by mistake.
The moral of this story?  Never fear any of your "boo boos". There's always a way to fix it.  Creativity is about "going for it", no matter if you think it works or not. Eventually, it will.
Have a great day!  Later next week, I will post some cards I made with the new goodies I got form the Holiday catalog.  YAY!

  1. My friend is an SU! demo and I had to tell her not to even give me a catalog this time. I'm out of control and this excess has to stop sometime. The stamps! The papers! The inks! The dies! I'm trying to thin out my stamp room. But, dang, this is cute, Bobbi. Don't tempt me... But do have a good day! Hugs!
