Last of the Christmas Creations

Hi friends! Well, today is Dec 22 and Christmas is just 3 days away.  Are you still busy shopping, baking and wrapping?  Luckily for me, my grand kids only want money or gift cards, so my shopping consists of buying stamps to mail them. Hubby and I don't usually exchange gifts; we both have so much already, there's not too many new things we need.  But we always do have a Christmas party at our home with close friends. We did that last Saturday and we had such a great time.  It started out small, but this time, we had 16 guests so it was really like a family and home Christmas to me. Great food, lots of laughs and yummy deserts!  Christmas Day we are going to lay low, in our sweats, watch movies and I'll make a quiet dinner for hubs and me.
It occurred to me that I did have one more Christmas creation to show you.  At my last stamp camp of the year, we made 2 cards using the Wonderland stamp set, which I showed you earlier.  I forgot to show you the note card set and holder. So here it is:

Very Vanilla note cards and envelopes are great for making a quick set of cards as a hostess gift. The paper used is Home for Christmas and we punched out different designs from the paper and adhered them to a scallop circle punch out.  The folder is 8-1/2 X 11 Real Red card stock, scored down the center, then flipped on the side and scored at 2-1/2 inches.  You adhere just the outer edges to make the pockets.  Four note cards fit nicely on one side, while the envelopes fit great on the other side. A quick punch using the 1/4 inch circle punch, and a piece of twine hold it all closed. This entire set was completed in about 20 minutes.  A great way to use up designer paper.
Well, this will be my last post for the 2015 Holiday catalog.  It retires at the end of the month, and I am anxious to create something with my 2016 Occasions pre-order and Sale-a-bration catalogs. If I get finished with something before the end of the year, I'll give you a sneak peek.  Otherwise, I'm looking forward to sharing them with you in January.
Merry Christmas to you all. And my best wishes for a safe, healthy and Happy New Year!  Hugs!
