Happy Easter !

Hello and welcome!  It's been over a month since I posted last and I'm sorry about that. Time has a way of speeding past, and March was a very busy month for me. I want to post now, because in 12 short days, I will have a house full of out of town company. My brother, whom I haven't seen in years, is coming in from Minnesota.  And two dear friends from Chicago, are also coming...and they are both arriving within 1 day of each other. So our house will be filled with lots of laughter, and memories of my life back home.
Easter is this Sunday...can you believe it?  It seemed like I was just making Christmas cards. Here's my card:

One of the BEST designer series paper (in my humble opinion) is the Painted Blooms dsp from the Occasions catalog.  Every side of this paper is beautiful, so no matter what your project is, you're sure to find something suitable.  You still have plenty of time to get this gorgeous paper because the Occasions catalog is good through June 2.  There's even a matching stamp set called Painted Petals and the stamps mimic the paper perfectly!

Supplies used for this project:  Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White Card Stock; Wild Wasabi Ink; Painted Blooms DSP; Oval Framelits; Decorated Dots Embossing Folder and some Candy Dots for interest.

Trail Tip: When my "mojo" isn't working and I can't decide on colors for my project, I let the designer paper guide me. On each package of paper, SU lists the coordinating colors that match the paper.  It's a win-win if you're stuck on colors like I often am.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I wish you and yours a "Eggcellent Easter" !  :-)
