The Traveler

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  Today I'd like to show you one of the cards we will be making this Saturday at my July stamp camp.  I've chosen a new stamp set called Traveler. This is a great set for anyone who enjoys traveling, or is retiring, or just general masculine cards.  There are 6 stamps in the set and each reminds me of  the "days gone by" era. You will find a suitcase, passport, world globe, train, ship and an old camera.  Here's  my card:

The card base is a new in color, Lost Lagoon.  The right side panel is a piece of Moonlight DSP pack. I opted to make this card different by angling the main image and trimming off the left sides of both layers. The sun is stamped with Hello Honey and the water is Lost Lagoon ink. These images are part of the new Work of Art stamp set, my new most favorite set! I then sponged the sky with Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight and a tiny bit of Rose Red.  The main image is stamped on regular Whisper White card stock.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Have a great day!

  1. Bobbi, I love this card! Your use of sponging on the sky really makes the image pop! And I love the use of Work of Art for the ocean waves as well as the different angle. Great job!! Off to pin it....

  2. Now, I really had to take a closer look at this... unbelievable how you did the water and gorgeous sunset sky! I'm especially smitten with that fabulous wave -- Wow! Very cool stamp. Great for bon voyage or masculine cards. Love how you dropped the image panel off the edge, too. Altogether pretty amazing, Bobbi!!
