Happy Sunday !

Hello my blogger friends!  How was your weekend? Our Dazzling Diamonds Ink team had an Open House at our Team Leader's home Satrurday to show off the new catalog, sell some retired stamp sets and do a couple of make and takes.  We had fun...we always do!  I didn't take pics of the make and takes yet, but I will. In the meantime, I have another design of mine to show you.  This card was made during my marathon card-making weekend a while back.  Hope you like it!
I just love the new DSP in the 2012-2013 Stampin Up Catalog! This card was so easy; just used some of the new In Colors cardstock and the DSP matched perfectly!  I'm all about decorating envelopes too... so a little bit of flower power couldn't hurt, right?  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Have a wonderful week my friends!  :-)

Busy as a Little Bee! :-)

Hello my blogger friends! By now, you all know me... I get here...eventually! It's been HOT in Arizona; and earlier this week, we had a huge dust storm. I was lucky enough to get some great photos of that.  But today, I wanted to share several cards I made this weekend.  My husband's birthday is August 1, and I decided to make another "sailing theme" card.  I didn't want to stamp today, so many of my cards are made using designer paper, card stock, and punches. Oh, there's a few stamps here and there, but it was kind of refreshing to create without stamps!
Here's my hubby's card.  And, I am IN LOVE with Martha Stewart's score board and envelope maker. I am really into having matching envelopes so when I can, I create one using some of the designer paper used in the card. I love this envelope; it's so cool that the ship turned out on the front of the card, like it should be. How cool is that?
Here's a closer look at the card by itself:

This card was an inspiration from Carla at http://www.carla'sscraps.com/   Take a peek at her card and although I sort of CASE'd it, I did some thing different, including the inside.  She is such a great designer and I always look forward to seeing her blog every day!  Thanks for the inspiration, Carla!  You Rock!
And here's the inside:

Well, that's about it for tonight.  Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you all have a wonderful week! Stay tuned for more creations later this week.
