The Sale-a-bration Continues

So sorry about not posting sooner, but this month has been a busy one.  I spent the first 2 weeks gathering exterior painting estimates. Then, the 3rd week was spent over seeing the completion of the job.  It's all done...and our house is as fresh as a daisy.  Looks like a brand new house.  We love it, but now, we realize we have inside painting to do. There's always things to do, especially at this time of the year.
We had our monthly stamp camp on March 19 and here's what we made.

Rose Wonder Stamp Set and matching Framelits are a big hit this year. I wanted a watercolor look, but without actually doing water coloring.  I used the "smoosh" from the Perpetual Calendar Stamp Set and Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzaz Inks. Stamped once, then again and again without re-inking. No magical calculation as to where to ink it up; I just laid the cut out down, and eyeballed it. I really like the result; not exactly perfect, but really close to the water color look I was going for.
This is a CASE from France Martin www.frenchiestamps.com  It's almost exactly like hers, except I didn't make the little lake in front of the deer, nor the water reflection like she did. I really love the peacefulness of this In The Meadow stamp set. I used Pear Pizzaz as the card base, and a soon to be retired color, Lost Lagoon for the layer around the main image.
Trying to use up the In Colors that will retire soon, this card is all Blackberry Bliss and Bohemium DSP. The new Party Pants stamp set is still FREE with a qualifying order, until March 31. When you open the inside, the celebration begins. Rich Razzleberry ink stamped on Bermuda Bay card stock. I love that the balloons are not perfect; the spottiness of the ink shows dimension to me.

Another new stamp set, FREE until March 31.  Pedal Pusher is so versatile. You have this cute bicycle, and the other stamps in this set are perfect additions to the bike. You can also just use the baskets and flowers to make a floral scene card. Again using Mossy Meadow (retiring soon), and the Botanical Gardens DSP, a brand new item in the Occasions catalog that runs through May.
And here's the inside; just a couple of baskets with flowers and hearts.
And last but not least, this adorable chick is way too cute. He (or she) is part of the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set, another item FREE until March 31. Paired with Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist (2 more colors retiring soon), along with the new Glitter Tape (in 3 colors; silver, bold and crystal) that you can get FREE until March 31.  The crystal tape is so pretty; you can also ink it up to match any color you're using.

So there you have them.  All the cards we made this month.  With Sale-a-bration ending on March 31, now is the time to place your orders so that you can get free products. If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would be happy to help.  Call or email me today for your FREE Occasions catalog and the chance for free items before March 31st.  Until next tine, happy stamping.
