My Very First Challenge for PPA294

Hi!  I am so happy to say, I finally decided to enter a challenge.  Pals Paper Arts is a wonderful group of paper crafters and I've been following them for a long time.  I never entered a challenge before, because frankly, I didn't think my entries would be good enough. After all, there are so  many talented people out there. But as part of my bucket list, I decided to just go for it.
This weeks' challenge was created by Dawn Tidd, a most amazing creator of beautiful designs. Here's her sketch

PPA-294-Mar31

And here's my card:

I used Happy Happenings stamp set, along with a strip of Into the Woods DSP. A silver doily with our brushed silver card stock finishes it off.  This was a quick card, and ready to send to anyone.

Thanks for stopping by today.  If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, please contact me. The new catalog is coming out soon, and I'm sure, like always, it will be packed with tons of fun and bright new products.  Have a great day!

  1. I'm so glad you started your very first PPA challenge by using my sketch this week, Bobbi! You've created a wonderful card with it. I love the silver doily to showcase your sentiment and the sweet piece of DSP you used to place in on. Super job! Thanks for joining us this week at the Pals Paper Arts and we'll look forward to seeing you again!

    1. Thanks so much, Dawn. It really means a lot that you like it. I'm still a little nervous because I never think my creations are good enough, but I will continue to try. I loved your sketch.

  2. It's all about having fun so I'm glad you jumped in there! I hope to play more challenges in the future. I'm not familiar with this one, but I love sketches. You did great with this sketch! I love the silver doily and pretty paper. I just bought my very first doily die. All the dies I have you'd think I'd have more doilies.

    1. WOW Ann...thank you so much for your kind words. I have been in love with your designs for a very long tine. I think I saw you at Convention once, but you had such a group of people around you, I didn't want to interrupt. I adore what you create.

    1. Ah, Susan, thank YOU so much! I've also been a stalker of yours for some time, and saw you at Convention last summer with your little leg cart. :-) It's a little intimidating for sure, but one needs to just "go for it" (like you say on your blog). So thanks for inspiring me to do so!

  6. Hi Bobbi!
I hope you'll continue to try challenges every week now so you can find out how much fun it is and we can rave over your creations! This one is a beauty. I love the brushed silver yardstick - makes it so elegant. And the little bit of bling is perfect! Great job, my friend.
Thanks for your sweet comment and well wishes on the move. It's a happy thing for my husband and I.
