Happy Weekend!

Today I want to share a beautiful card made by Carla Bazenhow at Carla's Scraps.  Visit her at http://www.carlas-scraps.com/ She  is an awesome designer and I fell in love with so many, but wanted to share a technique using the Embedded Embossing Technique. I won't tell you how to do it here, but visit her blog to learn how.  Here's her gorgeous card!  I love how it looks like fabric that is actually "weaved". Isn't it awesome? Carla, thanks so much for your beautiful card and allowing me to share it! Hugs!

Th-INK-ing of You: Assurance of what's not seen

Hello friends:  I am a follower of many blogs; but today, I want to share with you Grace Nywening and her Th-INK-ing of You blog. Grace is a designer for Our Daily Bread Designs and her card today is just beautiful. Her blog has music and I often look at it in the evening, because it is so comforting. So, if you want to see some beautiful work, click on the link below and enjoy! Grace, if you see this, I hope you don't mind me sharing your beautiful work with everyone.

Another Week (or 2) Gone By.....

I'm not doing a good job of keeping up with my blog, am I?  I apologize again....But, I did find time to attend a shoe box swap with my team mates.  We were to use retired SU products, and that was great for me! I joined SU last July and right after my first order, some of the items in my kit and some I purchased retired soon after.  But, I did also discover the great "clearance rack" and fell in love with several old colors. I designed a card, but cannot show that one to you yet.  I sent it to someone who also has a blog and once it's received, I'll share it here.  In the meantime, here's one I made, from my friend Kate's design (on our team).  I love this little turtle!  And I love her color choices. Thanks Kate!
